Biography

Tarali Sarma is a versatile and unique singer, a mesmerizing performing artist, composer, music director, lyricist hailing from the beautiful north eastern state of Assam, India.

Tarali's songs and music touches the soul and can take the listener to a world of varied emotions. Her music stays with the listener long after been heard. Her music is marked by magnificent compositions heart touching melody and meaningful lyrics and her creative and technical structure of music have given birth to her own genre of music popularly known as Tarali Sarma genre.

Tarali has 11 solo albums to her credit. She has composed music for 13 feature films as music director and have won numerous awards and accolades among which are the RAJAT KAMAL, Indian National film awards, for best playback singing and Assam state government film awards for best playback singing and music direction.
